FSSAI Compliance Disclaimer
KappuCake is a bakery operating under the category of small-scale food preparation. As per current regulations, many home bakers and micro-food businesses with limited production volume may operate without an FSSAI license until specific turnover or operational thresholds are met.
We take strict care to maintain hygiene, cleanliness, ingredient safety, and preparation standards in every order. We fully understand the importance of compliance and food safety transparency, and we are already in the process of completing the FSSAI registration to formalize our compliance.
We assure you that once our FSSAI license is issued, the license number will be displayed on our website and all official documents without delay. We request your kind cooperation and understanding during this transition.
1. General Information
- KappuCake operates as a small-scale, made-to-order home bakery.
- All cakes are 100% eggless and freshly prepared.
- Orders are accepted only via our official website.
- We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions anytime.
2. Order Placement
- Orders must be placed at least 1–5 days in advance depending on demand.
- Orders are accepted only after full payment via the provided online payment gateway (Razorpay).
- Please ensure all details (name, address, phone, message on cake, delivery date & time) are entered correctly.
KappuCake is not responsible for delays caused due to incorrect information.
3. Customisation & Design
- Cake designs may vary slightly from reference photos due to artistic style, ingredient availability, and lighting.
- For custom designs, clients may upload inspiration photos. These are used for reference only, not for exact replication.
- Colour shades may vary slightly as edible colours behave differently on creams, chocolates, and fondants.
4. Prices & Payments
Prices shown on the website include:
- Base flavour cost
- Ingredient cost
- Custom design cost (if any)
- Preparation cost
Final payable amount is calculated dynamically based on:
- Weight
- Flavour
- Additional customisation
- Payments are processed securely via Razorpay.
- Orders are confirmed only after payment is successful.
5. Delivery Policy
- Delivery is available only in selected areas of Delhi NCR.
Delivery slots are:
- 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, and
- 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- A preferred time can be selected but exact minute-based delivery cannot be guaranteed due to traffic and weather.
Delivery delays caused by:
- Traffic
- Weather
- Address issues
- Customer not available
are beyond our control.
If the customer is unreachable for 10 minutes, the delivery will be marked as attempted, and re-delivery may incur charges.
6. Pickup
- Pickup option (if offered) will require the customer to reach the mentioned location on time.
- KappuCake is not responsible for damage after pickup.
7. No Return / No Exchange
- Due to the perishable nature of cakes, products once delivered or picked up cannot be returned or exchanged.
8. Order Modification or Cancellation
- Orders cannot be cancelled once payment is made because all cakes are prepared fresh.
- Weight, flavour, or design changes cannot be accepted last minute.
9. Quality Assurance
- All cakes are freshly prepared on delivery day.
Store cakes in:
- Refrigerator (0–4°C) for cream-based cakes
- Cool room temperature for certain designs
- KappuCake is not responsible for damage caused due to improper storage or handling after delivery.
10. Allergens & Safety
Our cakes may contain:
- Dairy
- Nuts (on request)
- Chocolate
- Customers must inform us in advance about allergies.
KappuCake is not liable for reactions caused due to undisclosed allergies.
11. Photography & Promotion
- KappuCake may photograph your cake design and use it for social media or website promotions.
No personal information of the customer will be shared.

🚚 Shipping & Delivery Policy

At KappuCake, every cake is handcrafted fresh for each customer.
This policy explains how our delivery process, timeframes, and service expectations work for all cake orders within Delhi NCR.
1. Serviceable Areas
We currently deliver to selected locations in:
- Delhi
- Noida
- Gurugram
To confirm availability for your area, you can check with our team on support@kappucake.com or Delivery Checker before ordering.
2. Delivery Timings
We deliver every day, including weekends.
Delivery Slot
Customers can choose from two available delivery windows:
- Slot 1: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Slot 2: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM
We always try our best to deliver within your chosen slot and also consider your preferred time, but exact delivery time cannot be guaranteed due to traffic, weather, or rider availability.
3. Delivery Process
- All cakes are freshly baked on the day of delivery.
- Once your order is ready, our delivery partners transport it with care.
- In case of any delay, you will receive a call or Email message from our team.
4. Delivery Timeline
To ensure freshness and maintain quality, delivery dates are based on:
- Order volume
- Ingredients availability
- Baking and decoration time
- Location & delivery distance
We may disable certain dates during high-demand periods (festivals, long weekends, etc.) to avoid overloading and maintain quality.
5. Delivery Charges
Delivery charges vary by location and are displayed during checkout.
Some nearby areas may be eligible for free delivery during special promotions.
6. Delivery Attempts
We make one delivery attempt to the provided address.
If the customer is unreachable or the location is inaccessible:
- The order will be marked as delivered/attempted.
- A reattempt may require additional delivery charges.
7. Packaging & Handling
- Cakes are packed securely in premium cake boxes.
- For tall, fragile, or designer cakes, extra support may be added.
- We ensure safe handling, but once delivered, the customer is responsible for storing the cake correctly (especially in warm weather).
8. Customer Responsibility
Please ensure:
- Correct address
- Active phone number
- Someone is available to collect the cake
Incorrect or incomplete details may lead to delays or failed delivery attempts.
9. No Shipping Outside Service Areas
We only provide delivery within some Delhi NCR Region.
We do not ship cakes through courier services outside NCR due to temperature and freshness requirements.

🧁 Refund & Cancellation Policy
At KappuCake, every cake is baked fresh to order, customised as per the customer’s preferred design, flavour, weight, and message.
Because each order is highly personalised, we follow a strict No Refund, No Cancellation policy after the order is confirmed.
We request customers to read this policy carefully before placing an order.
1. No Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds in the following cases:
1.1 Customized Cake Orders
All our cakes are:
- freshly baked after an order is placed
- handcrafted and made to your requested specifications
- prepared using perishable ingredients
Because these are custom-made products, they cannot be resold or reused.
Therefore, once an order is confirmed and payment is received, refunds are not possible.
1.2 Incorrect Details Provided by Customer
Refunds will not be provided if:
- the address entered is wrong
- the customer is unavailable during delivery
- the phone number is unreachable
- delivery location is outside our service area
1.3 Change of Mind
We cannot issue a refund if a customer:
- changes their mind
- wants a different flavour
- wants to modify the design after confirmation
- no longer requires the cake
2. Cancellation Policy
Since all cakes are prepared only after an order is placed, cancellations are not allowed once:
- payment is completed OR
- the order is accepted by our baking team
3. Refunds Due to Delivery Failures
We may issue a 100% refund only in the rare case where:
- but KappuCake is unable to deliver the order due to our internal issue
- AND no preparation work has begun
This does not apply to:
- customer mistakes
- wrong addresses
- unavailability at delivery
- refusal to accept order
- natural delays due to weather/traffic
4. Delivery Attempt Policy
Our delivery partner will attempt to contact the customer at the time of delivery.
If the customer is unreachable or unavailable:
- the order will be marked as “Delivered Attempted”
- no refund or cancellation will be provided
- re-delivery may be arranged for an additional charge (subject to availability)
5. Payment Failure Cases
If the amount is deducted from your bank/card but the order did not go through:
- the payment will automatically be refunded by your bank within 5–7 working days
If you do not receive the refund in this timeline, contact your bank.
